Tarmac
Tarmac is a sweet juvenile blue bar pigeon with a heart as soft as their feathers. Found alone in a scorching parking lot during a heat wave, this lucky sweetie was rescued by a kind vet tech and hand-raised with love by the president of DCPR. Thanks to all that early TLC, Tarmac is incredibly people-friendly and enjoys human company, but like any growing youngster, they may go through a brief feisty phase during "cooberty" (pigeon puberty) in the next couple of months. Their sex is still unknown, but their personality is already shining through: affectionate, curious, and ready for a forever home (they will need to be an indoor pet, as they have only ever know the "home" life).
Don’t miss your chance to bring this parking-lot survivor and cutie-pie into your flock! A more detailed bio is on the way, but Tarmac is already winning hearts.
