Queenie
Queenie isn’t just a pigeon—he’s a presence. A stately Damascene with snow-white feathers and the confidence of a retired runway model, Queenie recently found himself single and ready to mingle after the loss of his lifelong partner. But rather than wallow, this bold boy set out to reinvent himself.
We first spotted Queenie strutting his stuff at a local racetrack, turning heads with his regal posture and impressive looks. While he was busy charming the local flock, one of our DCPR volunteers couldn’t help but notice him—because, frankly, Queenie is hard to miss.
When it comes to pigeons, Queenie is a smooth operator—flirty, social, and full of flair. With humans, however, he’s more of a dignified gentleman: respectful, composed, and quietly observant.
Queenie is seeking a fresh start in a loving, predator-proof aviary where he can spread his wings safely—or as a devoted indoor husbird, ready to dote on a new pigeon-mate. He’s not just looking for a home. He’s looking for a new chapter.
