As a baby, Luffy survived a predator attack and was also found with an older ankle injury that had already healed a bit crooked. Despite these challenges, he’s grown into a strong and capable bird who gets around well, he just appreciates softer cage surfaces to keep him comfortable. His determination and gentle spirit make him a truly special companion.
Though Luffy now spends part of his time in the aviary playing with his buddies, he was raised primarily in a foster home and is very accustomed to being around people. He’s curious, feisty, and carries himself with the quiet confidence of a bird who’s already overcome a lot. Luffy would love a home where he can continue to be part of daily life, admired for both his resilience and his sweet presence.
