Desk Chair
Hey, I’m Desk Chair, a ~5-year-old Modena pigeon with a strong personality and a name you won’t forget. I’ll be available for local pick-up in April 2026, so consider this your early introduction. While my gender hasn’t been officially confirmed, my behavior (and a long history of not laying eggs) has folks suspecting I might be male, but I like to keep a little mystery.
I’m feisty, independent, and a bit more aloof than my sibling, Beanbag. I’m not the type to immediately fawn over you, I prefer to observe, assess, and decide when you’ve earned my attention. And yes, the name fits — I’ve got a nice, rounded, shape - like a poorly-designed desk chair, but don't worry, I'm supportive, sturdy, and perfectly built for staying exactly where I please.
I’d do best with someone who respects a pigeon with boundaries and appreciates a companion who does things on their own terms. If you’re patient and enjoy earning trust rather than expecting it right away, I might just be your kind of bird.
