Corn Nut

Hey there, I’m Corn Nut, and yes, the name is completely deserved. Some birds are named for their looks or their personality. Me? I earned my name through a deep and unwavering devotion to corn. If there’s corn involved, I’m interested. If there’s extra corn involved, we might just become best friends.

I’m a Cuban pouter who was found severely underweight by a DCPR volunteer, but those days are thankfully behind me now. These days, I’m focused on the important things in life: snacks, flirting, and enjoying the company of my humans. My gender hasn’t been officially confirmed, though my behavior has everyone suspecting I’m male. Like many pouters, I’m naturally social and charming, and I’ve already shown my foster that I’m willing to accept cuddles. Every pigeon forms bonds at their own pace, but being comfortable with that kind of closeness is a pretty good sign that I have all the makings of a wonderful companion.

I’m looking for a home that will appreciate my sweet personality, my flirty little antics, and perhaps most importantly, my refined culinary tastes. If you’re searching for a pigeon with a big heart, a lot of potential, and a passionate relationship with corn, I think we might be the perfect match. Just don’t be surprised if I try to convince you that every meal should include my favorite snack.

Notes: Gender is unknown.
