Hi there, I’m Beanbag, a 5-year-old Modena pigeon with a big personality to match my… well, big self. I came to DCPR after my previous owner’s health declined, and while that was a big change, I’ve taken it in stride. I’m used to the indoor pet life and all the comforts that come with it, and I’m more than ready to settle back into a cozy home of my own.
As a Modena, I’m a bit larger and rounder than your average pigeon- think charmingly chubby rather than aerodynamic (flying is not exactly my strong suit, and that’s just fine with me). My gender hasn’t been officially confirmed, but based on my behavior and history, folks think I’m likely male. What is certain is my personality: I’m flirty, friendly, and love being around people. I’m the kind of bird who enjoys attention and isn’t shy about asking for it.
