Battle SHip

Hey… I’m Battle Ship, and yeah, I’ve already lived through more than most pigeons my age. I was found outside a Best Buy after what looked like a predator scare and a bad collision, still just a squeaking baby. I was cold, hurt, and way too young to be out on practice racing runs. A quick-thinking employee scooped me up and kept me safe until rescuers arrived. Honestly, that fast action is probably why I’m still here today.

I’m still growing up, which means I’m right in the middle of “cooberty” (pigeon puberty, and yes, it’s as awkward as it sounds). Some days I’m a little skittish, still figuring out the world and my place in it. But other times? My baby side sneaks right back out, and I’ll ask for soft cuddles and comfort like the little squeaker I recently was. My gender’s still a mystery, and my wings won’t ever carry me like a typical racer’s- but I get around just fine and I’m learning that I’m safe now.

What I need is someone who understands that growing up can be messy, especially after a rough start. With patience, kindness, and a little extra love during my awkward phases, I’m going to grow into a deeply devoted companion. I may not fly far, but I’ve got a lot of heart, and I’m ready to give it to the right home.

Notes: Gender is unknown and can not get full flight so will need ramps in cage.
