Asphalt
Asphalt is a scrappy young survivor with a flair for fashion, this feral pigeon sports a fabulous natural "fancy haircut" that sets them apart in any flock. Found as a fledgling after a predator attack in a sweltering parking lot, Asphalt was rescued and lovingly rehabilitated in the home of DCPR’s president. Though currently deep in the throes of "cooberty" (pigeon puberty), complete with a touch of teenage angst, Asphalt’s early exposure to people means they’re familiar with human companionship, even if it takes a little time for them to fully warm up to new folks.
Still figuring out the world and their place in it, Asphalt is full of potential and looking for a patient adopter who can appreciate their unique look and spirited personality. Sex is still unknown (but suspected to be male). If you’ve got room in your heart (and home) for a little attitude and a lot of style, Asphalt might just be your bird.
